A companion document to the Potomac PCB TMDL is a report by LimnoTech, Inc., describing the development, calibration and validation of a PCB water quality model for the tidal freshwater portions of the Potomac and Anacostia rivers. The model was used to determine the PCB TMDL.
This report was delivered in April 2013 to the Army Corp of Engineers, Baltimore District. The report was modified in April 2014 to accommodate edits requested by USACE headquarters. A large section of the original 2013 report was reorganized into a new Appendix (D), and summary text from several of the original appendices was copied into the report. The overall content of the two reports is essentially the same. The USACE modified report is available in ICPRB publications for year 2014.
