In collaboration with the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation and Mallows-Bay Potomac River National Marine Sanctuary, this event is part of the annual Get Into Your Sanctuary campaign.

We’ll explore the three main trails at Mallows Bay Park, which create a scenic 2-mile loop. This interpretive hike aims to foster a safe and supportive environment, to promote making outdoor spaces more accessible to women. You’ll learn about the diverse habitats and key ecological features of Mallows Bay Park, including a native plant meadow, an active beaver lodge, a grove of pawpaw trees, and a young forest. 🌸🌿🍃🥾
